With a background in software development for the trade industry, the founders were well positioned to identify a gap in the market for a nimble, well-designed takeoff software solution.

The Groundplan software is a Takeoff and Estimating platform that gives trade businesses a fast and flexible tool for counting and measuring materials from construction plans.
Used by several trade industries, Groundplan takes the age-old process of counting and measuring materials from printed plans, and replaces it with the ability to instead use your mouse to create Count, Length and Area measurements on a digital PDF plan.
